Small Firms, Big Impact: How TechEditor is Leveling the Engineering Playing Field

Picture a typical tender: a boutique firm versus a global corporation. The giant has a massive headcount and a software budget that dwarfs the small firm’s entire net worth. On top of that, they can easily undercut prices by recycling "canned" solutions from their vast internal libraries. In a race like this, who's the favorite to win?

5 Engineering Market Challenges: Uncovering Hidden Risks in Calculation Automation

Does this sound familiar? Your company invests heavily in BIM and modern software suites. You create detailed digital twins. Yet, the critical calculations that hold this entire structure together are still performed in scattered spreadsheets.

100 Digital Solutions for Engineering: Transforming University Expertise into Real-World Tools

There is a common stereotype that academic science and real-world engineering exist in parallel universes. Universities generate deep fundamental knowledge, while the industry demands rapid, applied tools "needed yesterday." It is high time we broke this barrier.

Чому я створив TechEditor. Історія розробника

Why I created TechEditor. A developer's story

My name is Vitalii Artomov. I am the founder of Dystlab and the chief architect of TechEditor. But I'm not a programmer in the traditional sense. I am an engineer who, for over 20 years, faced the same problems you do — routine, calculation errors, and constant switching between different software. At some point, I decided to create the tool that my team and I so desperately needed.

This article isn't just a description of TechEditor. It's my story and the answer to the main questions: what is the purpose of this program, and why was it created?

AI for Engineers: Get Speed Without the Risk with TechEditor 5

Most engineering company leaders I speak with today are keeping a close eye on the AI trend. They see the rapid advancements but approach them with caution — a caution that is entirely logical, especially when it comes to engineering calculations.

Business owners understand ignoring this trend isn't an option; otherwise, they risk losing their competitive edge. But often, they just don't have the bandwidth. There are far more pressing matters: burning deadlines, last-minute changes, and a critical shortage of qualified staff. It seems logical to deal with all this first, and then, someday, get around to innovation.

FREE vs. PRO: Unlocking Opportunities for Beginners and Maximizing Productivity for Professionals

Engineering calculations are a kind of magic of precision. But behind the scenes of this magic often lies a tedious routine: hours spent transferring data from one program to another, wrestling with report formatting, and the constant fear of overlooking something or making a mistake with units of measurement.

We at Dystlab know this "pain" firsthand because we are engineers ourselves. That's precisely why we created TechEditor: a single environment where powerful calculations, professional documentation, and modern AI tools coexist in perfect harmony.
